December 21-
Last night was strange. I'm assuming it had something to do with my conversation with my brother, but I dreamt that I had eaten food on Day Three, and broke the fast. It was quite strange. I think it was a yogurt, too.
So, Day Five was chocked full of events. I was quite busy the entire day. I woke up around 9:30am to my alarm, because I was heading to the Bowers Museum with a friend. She was driving, thankfully. But, the drive there was a little intense, because it was raining and I get car sick. But, we made it there alright and the museum was gorgeous. The only problem was that I had to sit down every ten minutes because I was so physically tired. We snuck into the Ben Franklin exhibit. We were soon after asked where our special stickers were. We smiled and walked away slowly so nobody got hurt.
After a couple hours of look and sit, we headed out and I talked her into taking me to Michaels to pick up some things. I love that place. It was a little crowded, but not too bad. My friend dropped me off at home soon after, and I talked my roommate into taking us to BBW and Omaha Steaks and Bevmo and Fresh and Easy. I bought a ton of meats for after the fast and food for the party as well. That whole trip lasted about three hours, and then we returned home and I rested.
I went to another friend's house party. It was a Christmas celebration for some great friends. I stayed as long as I could bare around all the delicious smelling food, and then headed over to yet another friend's house to help her wrap presents. Being a glutton for punishment as I am, I cooked her salmon, stuffed potato, and french bread. It all smelled incredibly good, which pursed me into a deep sleep on her couch, as she wrapped all the presents herself. I'm sure she appreciated my help. I woke up an hour or so later, to a room full of wrapped presents, and she asked if I'd like to watch tv, since it was still pouring out. And keep in mind I drove there.
So, we watched The Office christmas special, and two episodes of the mentalist.
Around one or so in the morning, I drove home in the pouring rain. And I slept like a starving baby.
